Bethany Lodge

Bethany Lodge has provided homelike Christian care for seniors since 1970.  It is licensed and operates under the authority of the Ministry of Health‚ Long Term Care Division.  The Lodge offers 128 beds divided into 4 separate neighbourhoods, each fully equipped with a dining room, lounges, activity areas.

Recreation & Program

The Life Enrichment team provides exciting activities‚ outings and special events.  Residents have discovered new hobbies and enjoy keeping active.

Bethany’s Chefs create 3 delicious meals and snacks daily.  The dietician ensures the individual dietary needs of the residents are being satisfied.

Housekeeping and Laundry

The friendly team in environmental services keep a clean well maintained home.  All linens and residents personal laundry is cared for.

Other Resident Services

The inviting Corner Cafe is a favourite place to catch up on the news, enjoy a coffee or have a visit.  Clothing providers come set up shop several times a year, mobile library and occasionally beautiful art work done by the residents can be seen during the art show.  The Hairdresser is conveniently located on the main floor next to the Corner Cafe.  Guests enjoy complimentary parking when visiting Bethany.

How to Apply

Application for residence in Bethany Lodge must be made through the  Community Care Access Centre. (CCAC)   The CCAC is responsible for the application process to Bethany Lodge and to all other Long Term Care Facilities in the province‚ that are funded by the Ministry of Health.

Once the application process is complete‚ the CCAC placement coordinator is responsible for monitoring the availability, managing the waiting list until a placement becomes available.

Rates

The rates for new residents effective July 1‚ 2016 are as follows

Semi-Private $2,163.24
Private $2‚563.22

An application for rate reduction is available for residents in the Lodge (Basic rooms only). The reduction is income-dependent according to a formula established by the Ministry of Health.
